SM REITs are projected to be more liquidator than the traditional REITs making the buying and selling of units by the investors simpler.

Advantages of the SM-REIT Framework as Approved by SEBI

The SM-REITS approach licensed by SEBI is expected to be focused on providing safety to investors and developing the small and medium REITS structures in the country. Real estate developers such as Signature Global and analysts are of the opinion that this new framework would help increase small and medium real estate investors who are likely to be able to offer a variety of possible advantages such as lower minimum investment, more diversification and greater liquidity.
