Haryana’s Initiative: No-Spillage Method on Construction Sites
So, a few months back, Haryana Pollution Control Board took a major development step to ensure that Construction Sites adhere to their duties in controlling pollution. They have come up with a new scoring system that assesses construction sites above 500 sqm in terms of their performance on pollution parameters (29 in total) score. This system follows the same principles as that of the air quality index but assigns scores to sites with poor, satisfactory, very good or excellent in accordance with the points they have scored.
Green Initiatives: Getting Rid of the Emissions on the Processes of Construction
In view of this, and as a company that is committed to eco-friendly strategies, this project is no different as it seeks to incorporate a self-regulatory mechanism for construction emissions whilst also experimenting with the use of behavioral nudges in construction sites. The network consists of nine air quality monitors and one automatic weather station. The data collection and application of the network will be integrated and offered to project developers and the research team via a dashboard that models pollution level during various construction activities on site.
